GR καὶ πᾶς Ισραηλ ὁ συλλοχισμὸς αὐτῶν καὶ οὗτοι καταγεγραμμένοι ἐν βιβλίῳ τῶν βασιλέων Ισραηλ καὶ Ιουδα μετὰ τῶν ἀποικισθέντων εἰς Βαβυλῶνα ἐν ταῖς ἀνομίαις αὐτῶν
LA Universus ergo Israël dinumeratus est, et summa eorum scripta est in libro regum Israël et Juda: translatique sunt in Babylonem propter delictum suum.
EN And all Israel was numbered: and the sum of them was written in the book of the kings of Israel, and Juda: and they were carried away to Babylon for their transgression.

GR καὶ οἱ κατοικοῦντες πρότερον ἐν ταῖς κατασχέσεσιν αὐτῶν ἐν ταῖς πόλεσιν Ισραηλ οἱ ἱερεῖς οἱ Λευῖται καὶ οἱ δεδομένοι
LA Qui autem habitaverunt primi in possessionibus et in urbibus suis: Israël, et sacerdotes, et Levitæ, et Nathinæi.
EN Now the first that dwelt in their possessions, and in their cities, were the Israelites, and the priests, and the Levites, and the Nathineans.

GR καὶ ἐν Ιερουσαλημ κατῴκησαν ἀπὸ τῶν υἱῶν Ιουδα καὶ ἀπὸ τῶν υἱῶν Βενιαμιν καὶ ἀπὸ τῶν υἱῶν Εφραιμ καὶ Μανασση
LA Commorati sunt in Jerusalem de filiis Juda, et de filiis Benjamin, de filiis quoque Ephraim, et Manasse.
EN And in Jerusalem dwelt of the children of Juda, and of the children of Benjamin, and of the children of Ephraim, and of Manasses.

GR καὶ ἀδελφοὶ αὐτῶν κατὰ γενέσεις αὐτῶν ἐννακόσιοι πεντήκοντα ἕξ πάντες οἱ ἄνδρες ἄρχοντες πατριῶν κατ’ οἴκους πατριῶν αὐτῶν
LA et fratres eorum per familias suas, nongenti quinquaginta sex. Omnes hi principes cognationum per domos patrum suorum.
EN And their brethren by their families, nine hundred and fifty-six. All these were heads of their families, by the houses of their fathers.

GR καὶ Αζαρια υἱὸς Χελκια υἱοῦ Μοσολλαμ υἱοῦ Σαδωκ υἱοῦ Μαραιωθ υἱοῦ Αχιτωβ ἡγούμενος οἴκου τοῦ θεοῦ
LA Azarias quoque filius Helciæ, filii Mosollam, filii Sadoc, filii Maraioth, filii Achitob, pontifex domus Dei.
EN And Azarias the son of Helcias, the son of Mosollam, the son of Sadoc, the son of Maraioth, the son of Achitob, high priest of the house of God.

GR καὶ ἀδελφοὶ αὐτῶν ἄρχοντες οἴκων πατριῶν χίλιοι ἑπτακόσιοι ἑξήκοντα ἰσχυροὶ δυνάμει εἰς ἐργασίαν λειτουργίας οἴκου τοῦ θεοῦ
LA Fratres quoque eorum principes per familias suas, mille septingenti sexaginta, fortissimi robore ad faciendum opus ministerii in domo Dei.
EN And their brethren heads in their families a thousand seven hundred and threescore, very strong and able men for the work of the ministry in the house of God.

GR καὶ ἐκ τῶν Λευιτῶν Σαμαια υἱὸς Ασωβ υἱοῦ Εσρικαμ υἱοῦ Ασαβια ἐκ τῶν υἱῶν Μεραρι
LA De Levitis autem: Semeia filius Hassub filii Ezricam, filii Hasebia de filiis Merari.
EN And of the Levites: Semeia the son of Hassub the son of Ezricam, the son of Hasebia of the sons of Merari.

GR καὶ Βακβακαρ καὶ Αρης καὶ Γαλαλ καὶ Μανθανιας υἱὸς Μιχα υἱοῦ Ζεχρι υἱοῦ Ασαφ
LA Bacbacar quoque carpentarius, et Galal, et Mathania filius Micha, filii Zechri, filii Asaph:
EN And Bacbacar the carpenter, and Galal, and Mathania the son of Micha, the son of Zechri the son of Asaph:

GR καὶ Αβδια υἱὸς Σαμια υἱοῦ Γαλαλ υἱοῦ Ιδιθων καὶ Βαραχια υἱὸς Οσσα υἱοῦ Ηλκανα ὁ κατοικῶν ἐν ταῖς κώμαις Νετωφατι
LA et Obdia filius Semeiæ, filii Galal, filii Idithun: et Barachia filius Asa, filii Elcana, qui habitavit in atriis Netophati.
EN And Obdia the son of Semeia, the son of Galal, the son of Idithum: and Barachia the son of Asa, the son of Elcana, who dwelt in the suburbs of Netophati.

GR οἱ πυλωροί Σαλωμ καὶ Ακουβ καὶ Ταλμαν καὶ Αιμαν καὶ ἀδελφοὶ αὐτῶν Σαλωμ ὁ ἄρχων
LA Janitores autem: Sellum, et Accub, et Telmon, et Ahimam: et frater eorum Sellum princeps,
EN And the porters were Sellum, and Accub, and Telmon, and Ahiman: and their brother Sellum was the prince,

GR καὶ ἕως ταύτης ἐν τῇ πύλῃ τοῦ βασιλέως κατ’ ἀνατολάς αὗται αἱ πύλαι τῶν παρεμβολῶν υἱῶν Λευι
LA usque ad illud tempus, in porta regis ad orientem, observabant per vices suas de filiis Levi.
EN until that time, in the king’s gate eastward, the sons of Levi waited by their turns.

GR καὶ Σαλωμ υἱὸς Κωρη υἱοῦ Αβιασαφ υἱοῦ Κορε καὶ οἱ ἀδελφοὶ αὐτοῦ εἰς οἶκον πατρὸς αὐτοῦ οἱ Κορῖται ἐπὶ τῶν ἔργων τῆς λειτουργίας φυλάσσοντες τὰς φυλακὰς τῆς σκηνῆς καὶ πατέρες αὐτῶν ἐπὶ τῆς παρεμβολῆς κυρίου φυλάσσοντες τὴν εἴσοδον
LA Sellum vero filius Core filii Abiasaph, filii Core, cum fratribus suis, et domo patris sui, hi sunt Coritæ super opera ministerii, custodes vestibulorum tabernaculi: et familiæ eorum per vices castrorum Domini custodientes introitum.
EN But Sellum the son of Core, the son of Abiasaph, the son of Core, with his brethren and his father’s house, the Corites were over the works of the service, keepers of the gates of the tabernacle: and their families in turns were keepers of the entrance of the camp of the Lord.

GR καὶ Φινεες υἱὸς Ελεαζαρ ἡγούμενος ἦν ἐπ’ αὐτῶν ἔμπροσθεν καὶ οὗτοι μετ’ αὐτοῦ
LA Phinees autem filius Eleazari erat dux eorum coram Domino.
EN And Phinees the son of Eleazar, was their prince before the Lord,

GR Ζαχαριας υἱὸς Μασαλαμι πυλωρὸς τῆς θύρας τῆς σκηνῆς τοῦ μαρτυρίου
LA Porro Zacharias filius Mosollamia, janitor portæ tabernaculi testimonii.
EN and Zacharias the son of Mosollamia, was porter of the gate of the tabernacle of the testimony:

GR πάντες οἱ ἐκλεκτοὶ ταῖς πύλαις ἐν ταῖς πύλαις διακόσιοι καὶ δέκα δύο οὗτοι ἐν ταῖς αὐλαῖς αὐτῶν ὁ καταλοχισμὸς αὐτῶν τούτους ἔστησεν Δαυιδ καὶ Σαμουηλ ὁ βλέπων τῇ πίστει αὐτῶν
LA Omnes hi electi in ostiarios per portas, ducenti duodecim: et descripti in villis propriis, quos constituerunt David, et Samuel videns, in fide sua,
EN All these that were chosen to be porters at the gates, were two hundred and twelve: they were registered in their proper towns: whom David and Samuel the seer appointed in their trust.

GR καὶ οὗτοι καὶ οἱ υἱοὶ αὐτῶν ἐπὶ τῶν πυλῶν ἐν οἴκῳ κυρίου ἐν οἴκῳ τῆς σκηνῆς τοῦ φυλάσσειν
LA tam ipsos quam filios eorum, in ostiis domus Domini et in tabernaculo vicibus suis.
EN As well them as their sons, to keep the gates of the house of the Lord, and the tabernacle by their turns.

GR κατὰ τοὺς τέσσαρας ἀνέμους ἦσαν αἱ πύλαι κατ’ ἀνατολάς θάλασσαν βορρᾶν νότον
LA Per quatuor ventos erant ostiarii: id est, ad orientem, et ad occidentem, et ad aquilonem, et ad austrum.
EN In four quarters were the porters: that is to say, toward the east, and west, and north, and south.

GR καὶ ἀδελφοὶ αὐτῶν ἐν ταῖς αὐλαῖς αὐτῶν τοῦ εἰσπορεύεσθαι κατὰ ἑπτὰ ἡμέρας ἀπὸ καιροῦ εἰς καιρὸν μετὰ τούτων
LA Fratres autem eorum in viculis morabantur, et veniebant in sabbatis suis de tempore usque ad tempus.
EN And their brethren dwelt in village, and came upon their sabbath days from time to time.

GR ὅτι ἐν πίστει εἰσὶν τέσσαρες δυνατοὶ τῶν πυλῶν οἱ Λευῖται ἦσαν ἐπὶ τῶν παστοφορίων καὶ ἐπὶ τῶν θησαυρῶν οἴκου τοῦ θεοῦ
LA His quatuor Levitis creditus erat omnis numerus janitorum, et erant super exedras et thesauros domus Domini.
EN To these four Levites were committed the whole number of the porters, and they were over the chambers, and treasures, of the house of the Lord.

GR καὶ περικύκλῳ οἴκου τοῦ θεοῦ παρεμβαλοῦσιν ὅτι ἐπ’ αὐτοὺς φυλακή καὶ οὗτοι ἐπὶ τῶν κλειδῶν τὸ πρωὶ πρωὶ ἀνοίγειν τὰς θύρας τοῦ ἱεροῦ
LA Per gyrum quoque templi Domini morabantur in custodiis suis: ut cum tempus fuisset, ipsi mane aperirent fores.
EN And they abode in their watches round about the temple of the Lord: that when it was time, they might open the gates in the morning.

GR καὶ ἐξ αὐτῶν ἐπὶ τὰ σκεύη τῆς λειτουργίας ὅτι ἐν ἀριθμῷ εἰσοίσουσιν αὐτὰ καὶ ἐν ἀριθμῷ ἐξοίσουσιν αὐτά
LA De horum genere erant et super vasa ministerii: ad numerum enim et inferebantur vasa, et efferebantur.
EN And some of their stock had the charge of the vessels for the ministry: for the vessels were both brought in and carried out by number.

GR καὶ ἐξ αὐτῶν καθεσταμένοι ἐπὶ τὰ σκεύη καὶ ἐπὶ πάντα τὰ σκεύη τὰ ἅγια καὶ ἐπὶ τῆς σεμιδάλεως τοῦ οἴνου τοῦ ἐλαίου τοῦ λιβανωτοῦ καὶ τῶν ἀρωμάτων
LA De ipsis et qui credita habebant utensilia sanctuarii, præerant similæ, et vino, et oleo, et thuri, et aromatibus.
EN Some of them also had the instruments of the sanctuary committed unto them, and the charge of the fine flour, and wine, and oil, and frankincense, and spices.

GR καὶ ἀπὸ τῶν υἱῶν τῶν ἱερέων ἦσαν μυρεψοὶ τοῦ μύρου καὶ εἰς τὰ ἀρώματα
LA Filii autem sacerdotum unguenta ex aromatibus conficiebant.
EN And the sons of the priests made the ointments of the spices.

GR καὶ Ματταθιας ἐκ τῶν Λευιτῶν οὗτος ὁ πρωτότοκος τῷ Σαλωμ τῷ Κορίτῃ ἐν τῇ πίστει ἐπὶ τὰ ἔργα τῆς θυσίας τοῦ τηγάνου τοῦ μεγάλου ἱερέως
LA Et Mathathias Levites primogenitus Sellum Coritæ, præfectus erat eorum quæ in sartagine frigebantur.
EN And Mathathias a Levite, the firstborn of Sellum the Corite, was overseer of such things as were fried the frying pan.

GR καὶ Βαναιας ὁ Κααθίτης ἐκ τῶν ἀδελφῶν αὐτῶν ἐπὶ τῶν ἄρτων τῆς προθέσεως τοῦ ἑτοιμάσαι σάββατον κατὰ σάββατον
LA Porro de filiis Caath fratribus eorum, super panes erant propositionis, ut semper novos per singula sabbata præpararent.
EN And some of the sons of Caath their brethren, were over the loaves of proposition, to prepare always new for every sabbath.

GR καὶ οὗτοι ψαλτῳδοὶ ἄρχοντες τῶν πατριῶν τῶν Λευιτῶν διατεταγμέναι ἐφημερίαι ὅτι ἡμέρα καὶ νὺξ ἐπ’ αὐτοῖς ἐν τοῖς ἔργοις
LA Hi sunt principes cantorum per familias Levitarum, qui in exedris morabantur, ut die ac nocte jugiter suo ministerio deservirent.
EN These are the chief of the singing men of the families of the Levites, who dwelt in the chambers, by the temple, that they might serve continually day and night in their ministry.

GR οὗτοι ἄρχοντες τῶν πατριῶν τῶν Λευιτῶν κατὰ γενέσεις αὐτῶν ἄρχοντες οὗτοι κατῴκησαν ἐν Ιερουσαλημ
LA Capita Levitarum, per familias suas principes, manserunt in Jerusalem.
EN The heads of the Levites, princes in their families, abode in Jerusalem.

GR καὶ ἐν Γαβαων κατῴκησεν πατὴρ Γαβαων Ιιηλ καὶ ὄνομα γυναικὸς αὐτοῦ Μοωχα
LA In Gabaon autem commorati sunt pater Gabaon Jehiel, et nomen uxoris ejus Maacha.
EN And in Gabaon dwelt Jehiel the father of Gabaon, and the name of his wife was Maacha:

GR καὶ υἱὸς αὐτοῦ ὁ πρωτότοκος Αβαδων καὶ Σιρ καὶ Κις καὶ Βααλ καὶ Νηρ καὶ Ναδαβ
LA Filius primogenitus ejus Abdon, et Sur, et Cis, et Baal, et Ner, et Nadab,
EN His firstborn son Abdon, and Sur, and Cis, and Baal, and Ner, and Nadab,

GR καὶ Γεδουρ καὶ ἀδελφὸς καὶ Ζαχαρια καὶ Μακελλωθ
LA Gedor quoque, et Ahio, et Zacharias, et Macelloth.
EN Gedor also, and Ahio, and Zacharias, and Macelloth.

GR καὶ Μακελλωθ ἐγέννησεν τὸν Σαμαα καὶ οὗτοι ἐν μέσῳ τῶν ἀδελφῶν αὐτῶν κατῴκησαν ἐν Ιερουσαλημ μετὰ τῶν ἀδελφῶν αὐτῶν
LA Porro Macelloth genuit Samaan: isti habitaverunt e regione fratrum suorum in Jerusalem cum fratribus suis.
EN And Macelloth begot Samaan: these dwelt over against their brethren in Jerusalem, with their brethren.

GR καὶ Νηρ ἐγέννησεν τὸν Κις καὶ Κις ἐγέννησεν τὸν Σαουλ καὶ Σαουλ ἐγέννησεν τὸν Ιωναθαν καὶ τὸν Μελχισουε καὶ τὸν Αμιναδαβ καὶ τὸν Ισβααλ
LA Ner autem genuit Cis, et Cis genuit Saul, et Saul genuit Jonathan, et Melchisua, et Abinadab, et Esbaal.
EN Now Ner begot Cis: and Cis begot Saul: and Saul begot Jonathan and Melchisua, and Abinadab, and Esbaal.

GR καὶ υἱὸς Ιωναθαν Μαριβααλ καὶ Μαριβααλ ἐγέννησεν τὸν Μιχα
LA Filius autem Jonathan, Meribbaal: et Meribbaal genuit Micha.
EN And the son of Jonathan, was Meribbaal: and Meribbaal begot Micha.

GR καὶ υἱοὶ Μιχα Φαιθων καὶ Μαλαχ καὶ Θαραχ
LA Porro filii Micha, Phithon, et Melech, et Tharaa, et Ahaz.
EN And the sons of Micha, were Phithon, and Melech, and Tharaa, and Ahaz.

GR καὶ Αχαζ ἐγέννησεν τὸν Ιαδα καὶ Ιαδα ἐγέννησεν τὸν Γαλεμεθ καὶ τὸν Γαζμωθ καὶ τὸν Ζαμβρι καὶ Ζαμβρι ἐγέννησεν τὸν Μασα
LA Ahaz autem genuit Jara, et Jara genuit Alamath, et Azmoth, et Zamri. Zamri autem genuit Mosa.
EN And Ahaz begot Jara, and Jara begot Alamath, and Azmoth, and Zamri. And Zamri begot Mosa.

GR καὶ Μασα ἐγέννησεν τὸν Βαανα Ραφαια υἱὸς αὐτοῦ Ελεασα υἱὸς αὐτοῦ Εσηλ υἱὸς αὐτοῦ
LA Mosa vero genuit Banaa, cujus filius Raphaia, genuit Elasa, de quo ortus est Asel.
EN And Mosa begot Banaa: whose son Raphaia begot Elasa: of whom was born Asel.

GR καὶ τῷ Εσηλ ἓξ υἱοί καὶ ταῦτα τὰ ὀνόματα αὐτῶν Εσδρικαμ πρωτότοκος αὐτοῦ Ισμαηλ καὶ Σαρια καὶ Αβδια καὶ Αναν οὗτοι υἱοὶ Εσηλ
LA Porro Asel sex filios habuit, his nominibus: Ezricam, Bocru, Ismahel, Saria, Obdia, Hanan: hi sunt filii Asel.
EN And Asel had six sons whose names are, Ezricam Bochru, Ismahel, Saria, Obdia, Hanan: these are the sons of Asel.
