GR καὶ ἐγένετο τὰ ὅρια υἱῶν Ιωσηφ ἀπὸ τοῦ Ιορδάνου τοῦ κατὰ Ιεριχω ἀπ’ ἀνατολῶν καὶ ἀναβήσεται ἀπὸ Ιεριχω εἰς τὴν ὀρεινὴν τὴν ἔρημον εἰς Βαιθηλ Λουζα
LA Cecidit quoque sors filiorum Joseph ab Jordane contra Jericho et aquas ejus ab oriente: solitudo quæ ascendit de Jericho ad montem Bethel:
EN And the lot of the sons of Joseph fell from the Jordan over against Jericho and the waters thereof, on the east: the wilderness which goes up from Jericho to the mountain of Bethel:

GR καὶ ἐξελεύσεται εἰς Βαιθηλ καὶ παρελεύσεται ἐπὶ τὰ ὅρια τοῦ Χαταρωθι
LA et egreditur de Bethel Luza: transitque terminum Archi, Ataroth:
EN And goes out from Bethel to Luza: and passes the border of Archi, to Ataroth,

GR καὶ διελεύσεται ἐπὶ τὴν θάλασσαν ἐπὶ τὰ ὅρια Απταλιμ ἕως τῶν ὁρίων Βαιθωρων τὴν κάτω καὶ ἔσται ἡ διέξοδος αὐτῶν ἐπὶ τὴν θάλασσαν
LA et descendit ad occidentem juxta terminum Jephleti, usque ad terminos Beth-horon inferioris, et Gazer: finiunturque regiones ejus mari magno:
EN and goes down westward, by the border of Jephleti, unto the borders of Beth-horon the nether, and to Gazer: and the countries of it are ended by the great sea:

GR καὶ ἐκληρονόμησαν οἱ υἱοὶ Ιωσηφ Εφραιμ καὶ Μανασση
LA possederuntque filii Joseph, Manasses et Ephraim.
EN And Manasses and Ephraim the children of Joseph possessed it.

GR καὶ ἐγενήθη ὅρια υἱῶν Εφραιμ κατὰ δήμους αὐτῶν καὶ ἐγενήθη τὰ ὅρια τῆς κληρονομίας αὐτῶν ἀπὸ ἀνατολῶν Αταρωθ καὶ Εροκ ἕως Βαιθωρων τὴν ἄνω καὶ Γαζαρα
LA Et factus est terminus filiorum Ephraim per cognationes suas: et possessio eorum contra orientem Ataroth Addar usque Beth-horon superiorem.
EN And the border of the children of Ephraim was according to their kindreds: and their possession towards the east was Ataroth-addar unto Beth-horon the upper.

GR καὶ διελεύσεται τὰ ὅρια ἐπὶ τὴν θάλασσαν εἰς Ικασμων ἀπὸ βορρᾶ Θερμα περιελεύσεται ἐπὶ ἀνατολὰς εἰς Θηνασα καὶ Σελλησα καὶ παρελεύσεται ἀπ’ ἀνατολῶν εἰς Ιανωκα
LA Egrediunturque confinia in mare: Machmethath vero aquilonem respicit, et circuit terminos contra orientem in Thanathselo: et pertransit ab oriente Janoë.
EN And the confines go out unto the sea: but Machmethath looks to the north, and it goes round the borders eastward into Thanath-selo: and passes along on the east side to Janoe.

The meaning is, that the border went towards the north, by Machmethath; and then turned eastward to Thanath-selo.

GR καὶ εἰς Μαχω καὶ Αταρωθ καὶ αἱ κῶμαι αὐτῶν καὶ ἐλεύσεται ἐπὶ Ιεριχω καὶ διεκβαλεῖ ἐπὶ τὸν Ιορδάνην
LA Descenditque de Janoë in Ataroth et Naaratha: et pervenit in Jericho, egrediturque ad Jordanem.
EN And it goes down from Janoe into Ataroth and Naaratha: and it comes to Jericho, and goes out to the Jordan.

GR καὶ ἀπὸ Ταφου πορεύσεται τὰ ὅρια ἐπὶ θάλασσαν ἐπὶ Χελκανα καὶ ἔσται ἡ διέξοδος αὐτῶν ἐπὶ θάλασσαν αὕτη ἡ κληρονομία φυλῆς Εφραιμ κατὰ δήμους αὐτῶν
LA De Taphua pertransit contra mare in vallem arundineti, suntque egressus ejus in mare salsissimum. Hæc est possessio tribus filiorum Ephraim per familias suas.
EN From Taphua it passes on towards the sea into the valley of reeds, and the goings out thereof are at the most salt sea. This is the possession of the tribe of the children of Ephraim by their families.

GR καὶ αἱ πόλεις αἱ ἀφορισθεῖσαι τοῖς υἱοῖς Εφραιμ ἀνὰ μέσον τῆς κληρονομίας υἱῶν Μανασση πᾶσαι αἱ πόλεις καὶ αἱ κῶμαι αὐτῶν
LA Urbesque separatæ sunt filiis Ephraim in medio possessionis filiorum Manasse, et villæ earum.
EN And there were cities with their villages separated for the children of Ephraim in the midst of the possession of the children of Manasses.

GR καὶ οὐκ ἀπώλεσεν Εφραιμ τὸν Χαναναῖον τὸν κατοικοῦντα ἐν Γαζερ καὶ κατῴκει ὁ Χαναναῖος ἐν τῷ Εφραιμ ἕως τῆς ἡμέρας ταύτης ἕως ἀνέβη Φαραω βασιλεὺς Αἰγύπτου καὶ ἔλαβεν αὐτὴν καὶ ἐνέπρησεν αὐτὴν ἐν πυρί καὶ τοὺς Χαναναίους καὶ τοὺς Φερεζαίους καὶ τοὺς κατοικοῦντας ἐν Γαζερ ἐξεκέντησαν καὶ ἔδωκεν αὐτὴν Φαραω ἐν φερνῇ τῇ θυγατρὶ αὐτοῦ
LA Et non interfecerunt filii Ephraim Chananæum, qui habitabat in Gazer: habitavitque Chananæus in medio Ephraim usque in diem hanc tributarius.
EN And the children of Ephraim slew not the Chanaanite, who dwelt in Gazer: and the Chanaanite dwelt in the midst of Ephraim until this day, paying tribute.
