GR αἴνεσις τῷ Δαυιδ ὑψώσω σε ὁ θεός μου ὁ βασιλεύς μου καὶ εὐλογήσω τὸ ὄνομά σου εἰς τὸν αἰῶνα καὶ εἰς τὸν αἰῶνα τοῦ αἰῶνος
LA Exaltabo te, Deus meus rex, et benedicam nomini tuo in sæculum, et in sæculum sæculi.
EN I will extol you, O God my king: and I will bless your name for ever; yea, for ever and ever.

GR καθ’ ἑκάστην ἡμέραν εὐλογήσω σε καὶ αἰνέσω τὸ ὄνομά σου εἰς τὸν αἰῶνα καὶ εἰς τὸν αἰῶνα τοῦ αἰῶνος
LA Per singulos dies benedicam tibi, et laudabo nomen tuum in sæculum, et in sæculum sæculi.
EN Every day will I bless you: and I will praise your name for ever; yea, for ever and ever.

GR μέγας κύριος καὶ αἰνετὸς σφόδρα καὶ τῆς μεγαλωσύνης αὐτοῦ οὐκ ἔστιν πέρας
LA Magnus Dominus, et laudabilis nimis, et magnitudinis ejus non est finis.
EN Great is the Lord, and greatly to be praised: and of his greatness there is no end.

GR γενεὰ καὶ γενεὰ ἐπαινέσει τὰ ἔργα σου καὶ τὴν δύναμίν σου ἀπαγγελοῦσιν
LA Generatio et generatio laudabit opera tua, et potentiam tuam pronuntiabunt.
EN Generation and generation shall praise your works: and they shall declare your power.

GR τὴν μεγαλοπρέπειαν τῆς δόξης τῆς ἁγιωσύνης σου λαλήσουσιν καὶ τὰ θαυμάσιά σου διηγήσονται
LA Magnificentiam gloriæ sanctitatis tuæ loquentur, et mirabilia tua narrabunt.
EN They shall speak of the magnificence of the glory of your holiness: and shall tell your wondrous works.

GR καὶ τὴν δύναμιν τῶν φοβερῶν σου ἐροῦσιν καὶ τὴν μεγαλωσύνην σου διηγήσονται
LA Et virtutem terribilium tuorum dicent, et magnitudinem tuam narrabunt.
EN And they shall speak of the might of your terrible acts: and shall declare your greatness.

GR μνήμην τοῦ πλήθους τῆς χρηστότητός σου ἐξερεύξονται καὶ τῇ δικαιοσύνῃ σου ἀγαλλιάσονται
LA Memoriam abundantiæ suavitatis tuæ eructabunt, et justitia tua exsultabunt.
EN They shall publish the memory of the abundance of your sweetness: and shall rejoice in your justice.

GR οἰκτίρμων καὶ ἐλεήμων ὁ κύριος μακρόθυμος καὶ πολυέλεος
LA Miserator et misericors Dominus: patiens, et multum misericors.
EN The Lord is gracious and merciful: patient and plenteous in mercy.

GR χρηστὸς κύριος τοῖς σύμπασιν καὶ οἱ οἰκτιρμοὶ αὐτοῦ ἐπὶ πάντα τὰ ἔργα αὐτοῦ
LA Suavis Dominus universis, et miserationes ejus super omnia opera ejus.
EN The Lord is sweet to all: and his tender mercies are over all his works.

GR ἐξομολογησάσθωσάν σοι κύριε πάντα τὰ ἔργα σου καὶ οἱ ὅσιοί σου εὐλογησάτωσάν σε
LA Confiteantur tibi, Domine, omnia opera tua, et sancti tui benedicant tibi.
EN Let all your works, O lord, praise you: and let your saints bless you.

GR δόξαν τῆς βασιλείας σου ἐροῦσιν καὶ τὴν δυναστείαν σου λαλήσουσιν
LA Gloriam regni tui dicent, et potentiam tuam loquentur:
EN They shall speak of the glory of your kingdom: and shall tell of your power:

GR τοῦ γνωρίσαι τοῖς υἱοῖς τῶν ἀνθρώπων τὴν δυναστείαν σου καὶ τὴν δόξαν τῆς μεγαλοπρεπείας τῆς βασιλείας σου
LA ut notam faciant filiis hominum potentiam tuam, et gloriam magnificentiæ regni tui.
EN To make your might known to the sons of men: and the glory of the magnificence of your kingdom.

GR ἡ βασιλεία σου βασιλεία πάντων τῶν αἰώνων καὶ ἡ δεσποτεία σου ἐν πάσῃ γενεᾷ καὶ γενεᾷ πιστὸς κύριος ἐν τοῖς λόγοις αὐτοῦ καὶ ὅσιος ἐν πᾶσι τοῖς ἔργοις αὐτοῦ
LA Regnum tuum regnum omnium sæculorum; et dominatio tua in omni generatione et generationem. Fidelis Dominus in omnibus verbis suis, et sanctus in omnibus operibus suis.
EN Your kingdom is a kingdom of all ages: and your dominion endures throughout all generations. The Lord is faithful in all his words: and holy in all his works.

GR ὑποστηρίζει κύριος πάντας τοὺς καταπίπτοντας καὶ ἀνορθοῖ πάντας τοὺς κατερραγμένους
LA Allevat Dominus omnes qui corruunt, et erigit omnes elisos.
EN The Lord lifts up all that fall: and sets up all that are cast down.

GR οἱ ὀφθαλμοὶ πάντων εἰς σὲ ἐλπίζουσιν καὶ σὺ δίδως τὴν τροφὴν αὐτῶν ἐν εὐκαιρίᾳ
LA Oculi omnium in te sperant, Domine, et tu das escam illorum in tempore opportuno.
EN The eyes of all hope in you, O Lord: and you give them meat in due season.

GR ἀνοίγεις σὺ τὴν χεῖρά σου καὶ ἐμπιπλᾷς πᾶν ζῷον εὐδοκίας
LA Aperis tu manum tuam, et imples omne animal benedictione.
EN You open your hand, and fill with blessing every living creature.

GR δίκαιος κύριος ἐν πάσαις ταῖς ὁδοῖς αὐτοῦ καὶ ὅσιος ἐν πᾶσιν τοῖς ἔργοις αὐτοῦ
LA Justus Dominus in omnibus viis suis, et sanctus in omnibus operibus suis.
EN The Lord is just in all his ways: and holy in all his works.

GR ἐγγὺς κύριος πᾶσιν τοῖς ἐπικαλουμένοις αὐτόν πᾶσι τοῖς ἐπικαλουμένοις αὐτὸν ἐν ἀληθείᾳ
LA Prope est Dominus omnibus invocantibus eum, omnibus invocantibus eum in veritate.
EN The Lord is near unto all them that call upon him: to all that call upon him in truth.

GR θέλημα τῶν φοβουμένων αὐτὸν ποιήσει καὶ τῆς δεήσεως αὐτῶν ἐπακούσεται καὶ σώσει αὐτούς
LA Voluntatem timentium se faciet, et deprecationem eorum exaudiet, et salvos faciet eos.
EN He will do the will of them that fear him: and he will hear their prayer, and save them.

GR φυλάσσει κύριος πάντας τοὺς ἀγαπῶντας αὐτὸν καὶ πάντας τοὺς ἁμαρτωλοὺς ἐξολεθρεύσει
LA Custodit Dominus omnes diligentes se, et omnes peccatores disperdet.
EN The Lord keeps all them that love him; but all the wicked he will destroy.

GR αἴνεσιν κυρίου λαλήσει τὸ στόμα μου καὶ εὐλογείτω πᾶσα σὰρξ τὸ ὄνομα τὸ ἅγιον αὐτοῦ εἰς τὸν αἰῶνα καὶ εἰς τὸν αἰῶνα τοῦ αἰῶνος
LA Laudationem Domini loquetur os meum; et benedicat omnis caro nomini sancto ejus in sæculum, et in sæculum sæculi.
EN My mouth shall speak the praise of the Lord: and let all flesh bless his holy name forever; yea, for ever and ever.
